In a nutshell: Silencio becomes the first peaq DePIN to come preinstalled on Jambo’s Web3-based mobile phones and join its app store, with two more projects joining soon. Integrating DePINs directly into the mobile devices of the largest onchain mobile network is a major step toward mass adoption. DePINs, now off-the-shelf

For most people, a smartphone is the primary — if not only — gateway to the digital world. For many, especially in the developing world, it is also the main driver of financial inclusion. Web3 has been of major help there too: Banking the unbanked has been a core part of its mission from the very start. Bitcoin emerged in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis with the goal of returning financial power to the people. The crosspoint between mobile fintech and Web3 holds the promise of intuitive, efficient, and easy onboarding and empowerment for millions of people.
