TouchBrick joins the peaqosystem

In a nutshell: TouchBrick, an AI-powered DePIN enabling enterprises to secure and monetize their most sensitive data in a compliant manner, has joined the peaqosystem. Besides improving the way Big Tech stores and shares user records, TouchBrick is also tackling one of the biggest issues currently facing the AI industry — the lack of easily accessible data. Thanks to TouchBrick, you’ll be able to use enterprise AI products without wondering how much privacy was sacrificed in their making.

Sentinels of your privacy

There’s no denying the transformational power of AI. Yeah, right now it’s mainly being used to generate memes and deep fake videos, but just think about its potential real-world impact. Imagine, if you will, an AI-powered healthcare provider who could offer tailor-made advice based on a combination of your own medical history and that of others with a similar profile. Now apply that same line of thinking to finance, insurance, legal services, education. The list goes on. But to get to the point where it can reliably analyze and predict trends, AI needs data. And lots of it.

This is where things get complicated. For starters, no big business wants to give up their valuable data freely. But even if they did want to share their data with AI projects, they’d have to take into account all the privacy-related laws and regulations covering all territories their users are from. An administrative nightmare nobody wants to deal with.

That’s where TouchBrick comes in. TouchBrick’s mission is to provide a security and compliance layer for enterprise AI. Designed to identify and protect the most sensitive data, its AI agents empower enterprises to store things like patient records and user transaction histories with the highest possible data security and privacy. These agents, appropriately named Sentinels, enable companies to securely train AI models and offer compliance with a variety of global regulation frameworks, including GDPR. Via the Sentinels, enterprises will also be able to make their data accessible to others without compromising the privacy of their users and clients, all while monetizing their vast data repositories.

By giving enterprises a safe way to share their data, TouchBrick is addressing one of the biggest issues the AI industry is currently facing. There is an abundance of data in the world, after all, but getting access to it in a compliant way is a whole different story.

As part of the integration with peaq, TouchBrick will leverage peaq IDs as the identity and authorization management standard across its network. TouchBrick would set up two Sentinel Machines on peaq’s agung testnet and outfit them with their self-sovereign peaq IDs. It would also have these machines exchange encrypted messages — the hashes of the training data used in machine learning — via the peaq messaging protocol. Finally, TouchBrick would deploy on the peaq mainnet after testing the project on peaq’s canary network krest.

“The AI revolution doesn’t have to come at the expense of our privacy. The AI Sentinels will empower enterprises to handle sensitive data with the appropriate security, innovating with a peace of mind — and peaq’s Modular DePIN Functions and excellent enterprise collaborations network will be a boon for us as we bring this vision to life.”

— Shayra Anita, CEO of TouchBrick
“AI and DePIN were made for one another. TouchBrick is another proof of that, filling a crucial gap in the Web3-powered AI stack. Privacy and security are some of the most crucial concerns when it comes to the AI industry, and I am certain that this project will create a lot of value for the enterprise segment.”
